Murder mystery games are part of the group of live role-playing games in which -either individually or in teams- a fictitious situation involving the commitment of a crime (a murder, jewel robbery, etc.) or an unexpected situation is themed. These events are usually staged in high-society or crime-mystery atmospheres.

There are over 50 different characters that participants or teams can represent. One of the characters is secretly appointed to take on the role of the thieve or the murderer, while the rest of participants must interact according to their characters in order to solve the mystery. They must however protect their interests at the same time.
